BEFORE YOU PLAY THE GAMES:
Help Children Make Their Own Magic Story Cars

Children will pretend to drive Magic Story Cars (cardboard boxes,
pillows or chairs with their own 'license plates') to play each learning game.

1. Tell Children: "Let's make your own car, a Magic Story Car. You will drive it to play special make-believe stories."

2. Give Each Child a License Plate, and help them write their name or initials on it.

3. Set-up Magic Story Cars: Paste or tape license plates on cardboard boxes. Help children decorate their boxes with headlights, wheels, and alphabet letters or other designs. If you don't have boxes, children can sit on chairs, pillows or cushions with their license plates in front and pretend to drive.

HOW TO PLAY THE LEARNING GAMES

NOTE: This online version of My Magic Story Car includes Instructions and Materials for the games, a manual and a video showing how to play one game. The full version also includes a DVD or video showing children how to play all five games (see How to Purchase).

1. Help children make their own Magic Story Cars. (See above.)
2. If you have the full version, watch all five games on the video or DVD.
3. Play the games with one or more children, one game at a time:
Before you play, read the Instructions for that game.
Set up the Materials for that game.
If you have the full version, show children that game on the video or DVD.
Then play that game and have fun!
4. Repeat the games. Children will learn something new every time.
