PROGRAM CONTENTS  
The Learning through Play for School Readiness video-based training program consist of:
- Two-Part Training Video. (26 Minutes, Closed Captioned) with short demonstrations of how to have fun playing each of the six learning games with pre-school children at home or in other childcare settings.
- Printed Manual. (24 pages) with guidelines and handouts to photocopy for parents or childcare staff. Handouts include: instructions and materials for playing the games, ideas for other games, a resource list.
The program trains parents and other caregivers to engage 3-5 year-old children in simple, highly motivating learning games that have been tested and shown to strengthen children’s cognitive, social and motor school-readiness skills.
You can play the learning games at home or in any other childcare setting (childcare centers, Head Start, family home care). The make-believe games are lots of fun for both children and their adult caregivers.
