...and lost again! In the Snow!
Yep - I've done it this time... had to go out and have a flight in the snow but lost it about 1/4 mile away. More snow since has no doubt covered it - I'll have to wait for the thaw. I wonder if a sounder fitted to the tail rotor control would help?

...and found!
After 4 days I found the Dragonfly - in a group of trees by a slate tip. No damage sustained. A quick battery change and off she flew! I thought about making a strobe light to run off the main battery. I'll have to give that some thought...

Lost!
Finished the new helmet cam and decided to take it out for a test after work. There was a bit of a wind but I went out anyway... the Dragonfly blew away. Still haven't found it...

Lovely day...
Not a breath of wind nor a cloud in the sky today... and I was at work! Still, as soon as I got home I took the Dragonfly up the hill for a quick flight before dusk really set in. Lovely flight - on the set up at the moment it spins on full throttle but let the throttle down a notch and it flies is large circles - perfect! I tried filming with the scalp-cam but had it set too high alas. Still, development of the helmet cam proceeds apace.

Syma 47G-4A Test Flight
Today looked promising and I need to get a flight in to add to the review. Went up to the quarry this morning where it was fairly sheltered and tried out the 47G. Why do I try test flights in an environment of rocks?? The first flight wasnt brilliant - lots of spinneys and I didn't take the right screwdriver to adjust the pot. It landed fairly roughly and I didn't check the rotor head assembly before I had a second go - evidently something jammed up because when I opened the throttle for the second flight the helicopter tipped over and the rotor head exploded! I still haven't found all the bits... I still haven't found any spares on the 'net either. There is another heli on ebay though so I might have to bite the bullet and get another one just to finish the review. I reckon round about May time if the present rate of progress is anything to go by.

Introduction
OK, I've decided to start a blog to record the slow moving events at ele-copter.co.uk... It's been blowing a gale outside for the last 3 months and it shows no sign of abating.
