Removing the transmitter springs


If you want to fly your Syma DragonFLY one (or none!) handed you can quite easily remove the springs which hold the throttle and tail rotor controls. A word of warning first though - if you do proceed you have to double check everytime you switch the receiver on that the throttle is switched off!


If you're ready to proceed follow the steps below:

1. Remove the six screws indicated. There's no need to remove the batteries.

2. You'll see there's not much inside! You can quite easily see the 2 springs.

3. Remove the 2 screws holding the switches...

... and lift out the spring

4. Replace the screws. It might be a good idea to tape the springs to the inside of the case so you don't lose them!
