Pray: Sign up to be on the prayer e-mail list
Financial support: Your gifts feed and clothe the poor; give gifts to those who could not afford them; supply Bibles and Christian materials; help people with rent and other crisis needs; can provide for camp and retreats
Special projects: Bring a group to paint a room; wallpaper the bathroom; do drywall work; clean tables, walls, chairs after soup kitchen; stock the food closet; Collect needed items such as personal hygiene items (soap toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, razor, washcloth, socks, underwear).
** Plan an outing for a particular age group
** Have a baby shower for a needy mom
** Put on a Day Camp or Sports Camp
** Lead an after school Bible club
** Do Backyard Bible clubs in July or August
** Volunteer to be a part of the Christian
** Women’s Job Corps (teach a class)
** Donate a car or clothes to a woman in CWJC
** Be a volunteer mentor in CWJC (complete **training see pamphlet for more info)
** For business owners, provide an internship
** Have a Mother’s Day Out program and provide the childcare workers
***** Needed: an optometrist for the eye clinic, a dental hygienist and another dentist to help in the dental clinic on Monday nights.
** For the musically talented: put on a concert; lead in a praise and worship night; put a concert for youth on a Friday night (coffee house style); bring your church choir to perform their Easter or Christmas music
** Tutor a child on Monday evenings (Oct.-2nd week of May)
** Teach parenting classes, financial management or other skills classes
Use your gifts to reach out in the inner city.
