Grandgirlies, sons, daughters, parents, brothers ... all of our loved ones remind us how blessed we are. The time spent with family enrich our lives and give us great joy. There is nothing quite like picking up the phone and hearing a baby "Hi!" or a big girl "Hi Nana, can I talk to Papa?" As parents and grandparents, we love following the activities of all those we love.
Singing with the Blackhawk Chorus for the last 10 years has been a joy and a privilege. The highlight this last summer was the choral tour of Italy. Even though our luggage was lost for 48 hours and we were in borrowed clothes, singing at the noon mass in St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican was awe inspiring. Concerts followed in the hills above Rome, Florence and Assisi. The countryside and architecture of Tuscany inspired us and gave us many ideas to use in our new home.
