iVisit for cross-platform chatting Yahoo Messenger
Doesn't take advantage of the full frame rate of iSight but it is free and cross-platform

BTV Pro for video capture. Easy to set up and control. EvoCam for timed still frame capture or motion detection. Great for webcam usage.

iVeZeen by Boinx. Really nice interface (looks like the iSight....and voice activation (formerly known as iRecordNow)
KeyCamX works fine in 10.3. Not as many controls as EvoCam but has motion detection and good interface.

SecuritySpy is something that people ask me about all the time. I couldn't try out the multi-cam feature but the software was nice to use. Demo available; $50.
gcam -- billed as a really simple way to capture video. It is and gives you instant quicktime clips, but I had some audio issues: much feedback.

Do check out the SightFlex and iFlex though if you're looking for alternative ways to position your iSight. I'm loving my new SightFlex.


QuickTime Broadcaster for streaming to the web. Hey MB, what about that new gizmo, the SightLight by Griffin?

Pretty cool for a small light - adds some fill, but watch if you're wearing glasses!

DeliciousLibrary. Cool way to scan books, music and movies using your iSight. (Or cats. Did I say cat scan?) Anyway - easy to use and fun.
