Count them one by one...

Okay, so I’m not bursting with energy today. No, I don’t feel great – in fact, today I’ve only organised a few of Alan’s shirts for the impending holiday next week and mainly, I’ve been resting today, catching up on my overdoing it over the weekend and my dentist’s work yesterday.

But whenever I feel a bit washed out, a bit blue, a bit lacking in enthusiasm, energy or any get up and go, I suddenly read about another ME/CFS sufferer, and boy, do I feel so unworthy for any form of moaning whatsoever!

That’s just the case with the story the Daily Mail is carrying today. In it, a 28 year old female has been bed-bound for 14 years. Her story can be found here, and if you have the time, I urge you to read it. It’s a scandal that people have to live with this horrific illness, when you see the full force of it in this young woman’s life.

What she would give to be able to sit up – let alone iron a couple of shirts, eh?!

Count your blessings today, folks; I know I am right now…
