Extra, Extra!

There were a few things I wanted to be when I was younger. One of them, a curtain seller, I’ve already written about here!

The other was to be a journalist. I looked into it when I was in 4th or 5th year at school, and realised that I’d have to move away from home which, for me, being a bit of a homebird, was a major problem.

I put it out of my mind and instead concentrated on my new plan of teaching. To be honest, I’m so glad I went down that journey. Each day can be different, and working with young people is great most of the time. Of course, there will be the “odd” little darling or two who really can challenge anyone’s patience!!

Anyway, I’ve got my wish for journalism – well in a roundabout sort of way, that is!

That’s because I’ve been asked to take on the job (albeit on a trial basis) of being the Sleepydust Newspaper Coordinator, which I’ve just started! You can have a look at my first efforts here.

I hope that I can keep it up and am very much enjoying receiving all of my relevant updates via RSS – what would be do without the WWW, eh???

If you’re interested, please feel free to check up on my efforts!!
