Four Mornings To Go...!

Well, I've almost made it!

I can't believe that its nearly 7 weeks since I've gone back to work! Okay, so the first 4 of them were on a phased return basis, but still, its a major achievement, I say!

And now, I write this on a Sunday night, with the thought of only 4 early mornings left!

Every so often, Alan looks me straight in the eye and asks me how I am. I know to be perfectly honest with him, but I am feeling not too bad at times. Yes, its true that after tea at night, I retire to the couch and then get to bed early, so I'm not doing anything physical in the evenings. Its also true that I do tire easily and have spells like I had today, (after putting some items in our cases), when I felt absolutely shattered, and instead of the plans I had, I found myself putting my feet up for over an hour. After a busy but lovely day yesterday (report to follow!), I needed a huge rest today, hence sleeping until 10 am and not getting out of bed till nearly 11! And yes, I'm now going to bed, only 12 hours later, for another really good sleep... I hope.

But, I'm feeling positive about lots of things. I'm so glad I went back to work when I did. If truth be told, I worried that it was a little premature, but I've tried it, the trial has gone well, and although doing 2 weeks on the trot, is very different from 13 each term, no-one can say that I haven't given it a go. Hey, I can actually start to see some space emerging from the base at work! Its actually looking much more tidy, with the extensive chucking out sessions I've been having, and that's been great too!

So, all in all, I'm looking forward to my last 4 days at school this week, and especially to Friday morning - when I can have another lie in!!!
