Where has all the sun gone????



What a day! No, not in the glorious, sun-drenched way I was talking about last week. No, today has been absolutely freezing! The house was so cold when I got home today that Dad had an outdoor fleece on. (Don't worry, I have given him a reminder guide of how to use our heating!) It took me a good while to thaw out too.

I think we take these changes in temperature so badly, don't we? After all, we never seem to have a run of particularly good weather, when it should be good. At least, that's what I think, as I'm living in a particularly exposed and windy part of Scotland.

But as someone has said, "there's no such thing as bad weather - just all kinds of good weather!". Its so true, isn't it. After all, look at the areas of the world who would love to have the downpour which we had today, to water their crops, which in turn provides life for human beings and their animals. It doesn't really matter if my grass doesn't grow, as its not feeding myself nor my dogs. I just like it to look nice and green. But for others, it's a much more concerning matter.

I'll try not to complain too much the next time the weather changes. After all, I'm sure someone, somewhere would just love to swap worlds with me!
