Count Canelli has asked you to design and build a mighty siege machine called a trebuchet that will hurl a projectile to break down the walls of King's castle. You must not only build a working "Warwolf," but you must also be able to accurately predict where to place your trebuchet to hit the castle. You will be assigned to a team of engineers to build your war machine and to compete against other groups. As a member of a group of four, you will follow the directions found at the website listed below. Each group will be assigned a computer and given all the materials needed to build a trebuchet. Your group will be responsible for providing any materials needed to decorate or paint your trebuchet. |
