Heading For The Movies? First, Check In With Jeffrey Lyons And Alison Bailes. 
Weekly Program To Premiere Sat., Oct. 1, at 10 a.m.
"Reel Talk," featuring "reel" movie and DVD reviews, a "reel" look at the film industry and "reel" celebrity interviews will debut this Sat., Oct. 1, at 10 a.m. ET on WNBC, providing viewers a jump start on their weekend rental and movie choices.

Co-hosts Jeffrey Lyons, WNBC's esteemed film and theatre critic, and Alison Bailes, host of The Independent Film Channel's "At The Angelika," will provide their differing perspectives on the latest film and DVD releases, discuss what's hot and what's not at the box office, as well as report on industry trends and casting hits and misses.

Also joining the "Reel Talk" cast is Lyons' son, Ben Lyons, an established cable television personality covering the media who will provide a 'Generation X' view of films, as well as celebrity interviews from L.A. Ben Lyons was formerly the co-host of MTV's "Your Movie Show."

Jeffrey Lyons joined WNBC in October 1996 and has interviewed nearly every major movie and Broadway star over the past four decades. His reviews can be seen on "Live at Five" and on NewsChannel 4's various weekend newscasts. Born and raised in New York, he is the son of Leonard Lyons, whose Broadway column, "The Lyons Den" was a New York tradition for 40 years.
