David Weil's
course on strategic planning for unions was a hit.
Most of us enrolled in this programme to find ways of
being more effective in our union positions, and to
explore ways of building the capacity of our
organizations. David Weil has given us tools to do
just that.
In an earlier
posting, I outlined Weil's srategic choices framework
that suggests there are two dimensions to building
union power: building organizational capacity and
increasing strategic leverage.
