nsim 0.5 for Mac OS X

nsim

nsim is a simulator for the HP-41CV programmable scientific calculator. It was originaly written in C by Eric Smith for X windows.

Here you can find nsim ported to Mac OS X 10.3. This is a quick hack and you shouldn't expect to much from it. If you like, you can play with source code.

nsim is made available under the terms of the Free Software Foundation's General Public License, Version 2.

Mac version of nsim uses following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Numeric keyboard for basic operations
  • Letters a-z (lowercase) as drawn on keyboard
  • Keys without blue label are available with shift key:
shift-o "ON" key
shift-u "USER" key
shift-p "PRGM" key
shift-a "ALPHA" key
shift-r "R/S" key
shift-g gold key

Liquid font, previous releases, history, source code and other stuff can be found in archive.

nsim is no longer maintained and it's replaced with new project: nonpareil
