Intentional living

I've been splitting my time between nashville and chicago lately and I got back to chicago last week to pick up the new car and get things done. It was an amazing week; I saw a different friend every night, got almost all my errands done, had a fish funeral and even squeezed in some snowboarding and a motorcycle show. It was pretty jampacked and a bit of a stretch for me socially since my habits tend towards isolated workaholism. I pushed myself to do it because I knew that my time in chicago was limited. When it was done, I was glad I had made the effort to prioritize the things that I am moving towards. I realized I should live intentionally more because my time is limited period. It's easy to put things I want to do off to next week when time stretches in front of you like highway, but we know how that ends... I die alone curled around my toilet and a cat eats my eyeballs when I'm dead.

I don't even have a cat....
