Home Sweet Home

Just wanted to show you where I spend most of my time. It may not look like much but it will do the kessel run in less than 12 parsecs. For the gear watchers, remember it's more about the ear, but then again, here's what I've liked so far:

Input Chain
Pre-amps: UAD 2610, Vintech X73i, Mastering Labs Pre.
Compressors: Emperical Labs, Distressor (2).
Mics: Rode NT2, NT1A, Blue baby bottle, Royer Ribbon Mic, Oktava Small diaphragm condensors, Various Shure SM58s and 57s

Computer and Software:
Dual 2Ghz G5 Powermac running logic Pro, External AVID/Magma Chassis holding 2 UAD cards, Interface: MOTU family. Plug-ins: Too many to list. Your milage may vary.

Instruments and amps
MESA Recording Pre-amp, Technics 1200, Stanton SK2F (well I dunno about this, I replaced it 3 times already.. piece of crap, but I like it.), Pioneer CDJ 1000, Radial JD7, Sansamp Bass DI, POC acoustic guitar that Willie Aames sold me. Gibson flying V they sent me via our endorsement.. hey wait a minute... Gibson, where's my guitar?

Monitoring:
Mackie HR824s, Headphones: Grado SR60s

There may be a U67 in my future but I think I might have to thumb wrestle Shenkl for it. Maybe we'll be able to share since my time in solitary is coming to an end. I am joining a recording commune. How do you end up with a million dollars in the studio business? Start with two million.
