Congrats Lee and Erin.

My good buddy and project mayhem graduate Lee Bridges got engaged to his girlfriend Erin and I was happy to shoot their engagement pictures. It was the first shoot with my new 24-70 f2.8L lens, which is making me rethink my position on canon versus nikon glass. It's pretty lovely, which it better be, since the price is cringe inducing to people who don't love gadgety things. The outdoor lighting was incredibly flat and boring so I broke out the portable ceiling, which I'd forgotten about since I mocked up my prototype. I did photoshop out some trees and pop the contrast on the sky, but the way Erin and Lee look is all portable ceiling baby. I really don't think I'd sell more than 12 of these to other photography nuts, so at some point I'll post plans on how you can make your own portable ceiling, although I'm already on to the portable ceiling mark II: Wireless.

Just because Lee looks all soft in this picture doesn't mean he can't cut a mean rock track. He's still got it yo. Marriage doesn't make you soft for at least another couple years. Lee is the new sheriff in town and is our first hire for project mayhem.
