We go plastic! Breaking the 100,000 unit mark.




I always get excited about this moment. Only 15% of all records released ever sell more than 100,000 units. As of this morning, we are at 100,696. This isn't the first time for us, but is by far the fastest selling record we've ever had. The records only been out since April and the weekly scans have been great. I wish they gave out awards for 100,000; instead of gold, we could go say.. plastic... Last week we were right behind Imogen heap on the Billboard heatseekers chart and I wish there was a "Next to Imogen Heap on the charts award" cause I like Imogen's record a lot and if I ever got to meet her, it would be nice to have an opening line, like "hey, didn't I just see you last week on the heatseekers chart?... we should hang out sometime, since our records hang out together so much on the charts...."

I kid. I kid.
