Hearing your own music on TV is like.... well I dunno.
So MTV Road
Rules/Real World Challenge is using our song
Anthem for
it's theme music and it kicked off tonight. It's a very strange experience to
hear your music on television and tonight when it started, I didn't even
recognize it, much like the very first time we heard our music on TV. Matt and
I turned on our hotel room TV one tired night on tour and ESPN Winter X Games
was on. Suddenly we heard this song.. this song...
what is that
song?.. we just looked at each other with a
"where do I know that from?" expression on our face and then we both leapt out
of bed trying to call the girls to get them to turn on their TVs cause it was
our song, they were playing our song on
TV! Turn the channel, to WHAT CHANNEL IS THAT?
I dunno? 5 5 5 turn it to 5! oh never mind.. it's not on anymore.. but it was!
they were playing our song and there were snowboarders and it was so cool! They
were playing our song.
Just got word that
the winter olympics is using "it's on" in their promo spots. woo
hoo!
