blogging 1.5

Well,
as you might have noticed there's been some small changes in the blog. I've
been getting my feet wet in html, it helps to have a good teacher, but the point
is, I may at last start making this blog into something a little mo better,
although as busy as I am, progress is taking time. However, we do have lots of
fun things for you to look forward to including the Christmas guide for creative
people, featuring the perfect presents for the budding creatives in your life,
or perhaps a good guide to send to your parents, complete with handy amazon
links. I usually do so much advising of what gadgets to buy that I thought I'd
consolidate it this year. I'm off the road for a bit, except for the cruise
coming up and night of joy at disney so hopefully I'll have more chances to post
and if you miss me at shows, I'm terrible sorry, they have a box that has all
the stuff I normally do set up as samples which brandon triggers so you won't
miss a whole lot from an audio perspective and maybe if you're real nice, zito
will let you pet what has come to be known as
"max-in-a-box"
anyways, the good side
of that, is more records coming from our studios. Mixing one monday, identity
to be revealed later..
Here's an
amazing shot of airborne melissa, taken by my buddy Steven Lee who works for a
little company called apple computer. Steven has been infinitely helpful in the
last year or so and we share an asian love of good deals and technology. Also
useful has been Kyle who works in the apple store in arizona. If you're in
arizona and you need a mac, go see Kyle. Kyle was friends with Melissa when
they went to college, so the moral of the story is, be nice to your friends,
some of them, especially the geeks will go on to have great useful jobs. My
friends now are all over the place at very influential media companies, so be
nice to the geeks/artsy types in your life. You will need us later
on!
UPDATE: the advertising on the
right is a google thing that I'm experimenting with, but I'm not sure if I'm
comfortable advertising stuff I haven't checked out. We'll see...
