  1. Dr. Jerry LaBonde, M.S., D.V.M.

Comments: DeAnna: He has been a fabulous vet. 7 months ago my other vet gave up on Chelsea. I took him to Dr. LaBonde who tried a new medication... now Chelsea is doing fine... Dr. LaBonde has even called me to check on Chelsea... his prices are 1/3rd to 1/2 as much as my old vet... very knowledgeable... caring... specializes in rabbits and exotics.
Kendra: Held in the highest regard according to the chapter manager... wonderful exotic vets and although my personal experience is limited, I do have to credit ObiWan's surgery success (an abscess connecting his eye & brain) here!

  11. Dr. Christine Horst
    Dr. Steve Batch
    Mesa Veterinary Hospital
    2525 Youngfield St.
    Golden CO 80401

Comments: They were recommended to me by the Colorado House Rabbit Society. I've only dealt with Dr. Horst personally, but she was very interested in hearing our rabbit's symptoms and treated his stasis aggressively and successfully. The Colo. HRS has nothing but good things to say about them both.
