Charky here, I am back with lots of stories to tell.
Well, Mom and Dad *deserted* us, Dad for 5 days and Mom for 10 days. How dare they LEAVEEEE? ::HAR-UMPH::
They had left us before, but for only 3 days maximum. They thought they could sneak out for an extra few days without us realizing. HAH! Humans are so dumb. We behaved very well with the bunny sitter for the first 3 days - she was feeding us twice a day and calling Mommy everyday to report what angels we were (ears surrounded by *glowing* halo).
But then, when Mom and Dad did not show up on day 4, havoc *wreaked* in The Chark's Lair HAR-HAR HAR-HAR. We, my brother, sisters and I, destroyed everything in sight. Ash chewed up all the cardboard boxes that Mom so nicely prepared, we pulled all the timothy hay out from the box and spread it ALL through the room, we pooped and peed everywhere, turned the water dish upside down and munched a big hole in our cage. Mom had made a couple of doors in our cage where we had *suggested* to her but we remodeled and made a bigger one (twice regulation size) in another side of the cage HAR-HAR-HAR. Free-range *this*, Dude!
My sisters, Benny and Bunny Bun, who are normally *extremely* well behaved, flipped their litter boxes upside down, spread oat hay, timothy and alfalfa over every single square-inch of the living room and peed and pooped everywhere in sight, in addition to munching gaping holes in the carpet. TEE-HEE
When the bunny sitter came in on the 4th day of destruction, she couldn't believe it. Everything was a real mess. She called Mom and told her we had partied all night! HA-HA.
Mom couldn't believe it either! Friends had said, "bunnies do not have a sense of time like humans - 3 or 5 days won't make a difference". That will teach them, not only leaving us, but not coming back in 3 days or less. ::THUMP::
We repeated our protest demonstrations the 5th day until Dad came home. Then we greeted him and melted when he pet us. We missed him so much... er... *he* missed us so much that we had to put up with his petting to make him feel better.
We will not allow them to leave us anymore - the bunnysitter agrees with us. We are TOUGH BUNZ but we require worshipful petting from our humans.
Charcoal "I want my cilantro, NOW,NOW, NOW!"
Ash "I think my ears need some petting, Dad."
Benny "More oat hay, pleeeeease."
Bunny Bun "Scratch my dewlap, Mom."
