Here the kids were off to the
mall with Mommy and a friend, when sure enough, Santa was there,
this time with the Mrs. Since we didn't have much luck with the Easter Bunny holding all four kids, we thought Santa was going to be a bit hard as well. But, as my wife will tell you, when a woman enters the picture things will always get easier, and I must say I concur with her on this one. Mrs. Claus was just what we needed here. Most of the time they still don't realize what we're going for here is a big, happy smile. We try, and then usually give up, reminding ourselves that what we're going for is different than what we'll accept - and that's four kids that AREN'T crying. |
| Yet another trip to Sears Portrait
Studios. The mall as a bit warm, and these weren't summer clothes
were were asking them to pose in, but it turned out ok. Here's the group all at once - notice who was happiest when given a toy to play with. |

Matthew seemed to smile all
of twice during the entire session (on camera at least). I can't
say I blame him, with us both wearing turtlenecks and heavy sweaters.
I can certainly say that I AM glad he decided to smile when OUR picture was taken. Thanks, boy :) |
| Of course, there has to be
equal time, now doesn't there? Here is Mommy with her girls, looking about as happy as they could at the time. |

This is always the fun one.
How do you keep every single member of your family happy while
ensuring they're in the correct pose in the right spot? Just as they all are, no doubt someone will find something else more interesting, or at the very least what you're currently doing boring. It took a couple of tries, but all in all we think it came out ok. Don't you? Next page will have some of the more fun parts of Christmas and holiday visits. |
