Naturally we had to start with a group shot. In case it isn't obvious to you by now, here we go from left to right: Matthew, Amanda, Samantha, Taylor. Mind you, to me Matthew and Mandy are usually happy. Samantha's usually neutral, and, well Taylor just never seems to be happy for long. In this case there just may be a good excuse. Although we made an appointment with Olan Mills, a walk-in who came in minutes before us somehow gained priority, and we wound up waiting 45 minutes with four infants prior to the sitting. Let's just say they weren't happy when it was finally time. Do I have to mention where I'll never have pictures taken again so long as I live? The rest are in order of birth, so as to keep with the normal way you're used to seeing these guys. Enjoy! |
| Taylor had finally cheered up enough for the actual single
shot. I think she's happy when she thinks, at least for a short
time, that she's an only child and gets lots of attention. Gee, just when you're all dressed, have the burlap sack ready, and getting your car keys for that trip to the bridge, they just ruin everything by smiling, don't they? |

Although obviously not as giddy as he was in the group shot,
Matthew is still a happy camper when his turn in the saddle rolled
around. The photographer certainly had his attention. You can tell he's getting excited..his right arm and leg are about to get minds of their own. Still pulling enough power to challenge any Hoover or Eureka on the market, he outweighs his sisters, although Samantha never let's him get too far ahead. He's chatty now, constantly testing out both the tones/pitch and (unfortunately) volume of his voice. Just learned to roll from front to back or back to front, but hasn't put the two together to roll around just yet. Aren't we thankful... |
| Amanda, well, what more can you do but look at her picture?
She's still our little angel, easy going, takes her time, and almost always cheerful (did I mention when she was hungry? ::grin::) Amanda has gotten to the point where she's realized that things in life are separate from her, and reaches out to grab toys, her bottle, your nose, etc. She can even sit up for a minute or two before balance becomes a serious challenge. She's so cheerful, playful, and good-natured that she's earned the nickname 'Pandy' (short for Amanda-Panda). What the heck?...it works for us. |

Samantha was somewhat cheered up from the group photo, but
she looks like she's just tolerating her parents and the whole
situation at this point. Probably getting tired at being last for everthing just 'cause she chose to be closest to momma's heart and therefore saw daylight last. She can also sit up for a minute or so now, and has gotten the roll puzzle solved. She will stand with little prompting, so long as you're there to lend support (by holding her hands). I think I can oblige. |
