24 Months Old - November 1999

Well folks, it finally happened. I couldn't get decent pictures of all the kids at the same time in the same place (So you're thinking "and it took two years for that to happen?!) Anyway, you'll have to see the best I could put together here; but remember, there's a whole page of November for their second birthday party - don't forget to stop by there (I'm going to try and use thumbnails...new learning project...wish me luck)

Getting Ready For Bedtime

Taylor, as you can plainly see, definitely has her good days. We were goofing around one night, and although two just weren't in the mood for a photoshoot, Taylor was just fine with the idea (so was Samantha).

Still (and forever I estimate) the smallest, Taylor has that petite, princess type of cute around her all the time.

The Teletubbies are still their main thing, as you can see here. Barney is making serious headway though (oh boy, the things I used to say I'd never let in my home....Oy Vay!) I think we've run out of "tubbie" things to get them for Christmas. Time for Barbie?

Well now, if you ever wondered if Matthew was going to have a rough time being a boy living and growing up in a household with a mother and three sisters, here's all the happy proof you need. Yep, this was the best solo picture of had of him...great eh?

Although we had no push towards 'boy-dom' (I still remember the chargrin I felt when I was told to allow him to want to wear the pink hats and sleep with stuffed animals and dolls if he wanted to), he's also opting to play in the sandbox with shovels and rakes, and inside with toy cars.

Woohoo! Time to buy the green army men! :::grinning:::

Whenever I get this look from Amanda, I just have to think "so exactly what did you do now? Always with the "who me?" look on this one.

Definitely two things we've figured out about her. She'll be the engineer, based on her ability to tear anything apart to see what's inside and the fact at two she's already walked into the 'computer room' while I'm in here.....right past me......and booted up the iMac. Oh yeah, we've also figured out that she's angel........with her halo on a slight tilt.

Samantha is still a girl on the move; we just can't think of her as a baby anymore - even at two. She's way ahead in verbal skills, saying grace at every meal, singing whole songs after seeing them on TV or hearing them a couple of times (heck, I don't know half the songs she knows).

She's also darn near the biggest of all; she's barely shorter and lighter than Matt; and I try to remind him of this when he decides he's not going to eat what has been so thoughtfully presented to him.
