18 Months Old - Getting Pretty Mobile

Fun With Animals

The kids attended both a wonderful birthday party complete with pony rides and a petting zoo, and a trip to Lowery Park Zoo in town, and I'm attempting to give you a quick look at their activities which started off the summer.

Taylor was having fun today - it was a really good day for everyone, and we decided to punch off these pictures while at the park to prove it.

And they say these parks are for ages 2-5...pshaw!

Matthew's doing well also, and like his sisters below you can tell he likes what is always not the most-accepted method of doing things. I think he was the first one to actually go down a slide head-first, although I'm not entirely sure that was on purpose (oh well).

At least they stop before they go shooting off the edge; we'll have to work on that part before they weigh enough to carry them off the slide.

Amanda is still, of course, a happy child (can't ya tell?)

We think she has some more teeth coming in, and she's the one who'll go off on her own "researching and exploring" an area so that she can come back and show you all the treasure she's found...you know...cigarette butts, leaves, acorns, littered items...treasure (heh heh).

At least to date she hasn't tried to eat most of it. We're watching.

Samantha preferred the swings and roaming around for the longest time, but now also has seen the fun factor involved with the slide; particularly the position which always makes mommy hold her breath.

She's progressing along quite rapidly, talking all the time (combination of our language and hers), running, and trying desparately to learn how to jump (just cracks us up).
