Well, they're getting to be just like little people nowadays, and although they can't quite get IN chairs on their own, they have the concept and can get out when they please.

Things are going well with them. We're still fortunate to have them all healthy and having fun.

Taylor was indeed having fun just before this...honest..trust me :)

Actually, if you were there you'd know whe wsa just taking a break in the shade as it wasa pretty hot that day.

She's doing fine, with the word-mimicking thing going, and gathering more skills everyday.

Matthew is still a happy camper...er, that is, when he's not in trouble....ok, that's often, but he has a short memory :)

Matthew is often a tad slower at new words or a task than the girls, but he shoots forward with big spurts rather than slowly gaining momentum - wonder if that will be his modus-operandi for life, heh.

Matthew is the tooth king; he has more than about anyone (about 11-12...ask his mother, not me :)

It eludes us from one day to the next on the "handedness" of the kids. We think we have visual proof here that our conclusions of him being left-handed are accurate.

Amanda is still a happy child. She's more out for attention than she used to be when she was younger. She's definitely with Matthew when it comes to deciding how to spend one's time... let's do as many things as we can htat Mom and Dad don't want us to! Yeah, well, I should've known from here shifty eyes.

Mandy is a good eater, although she chooses not to use her utensils very much - probably that rebel in her trying to get out again, since we know from previous demonstrations that she can darn well use a spoon :) (I'm telling ya, it's the eyes)

If we had to single someone out as being the most gregarious and being a really fast learner, for now it's Samantha. At 16months she's got several phrases down, a bunch of words, and even reminded Daddy the other day that you can't go out and play without shoes on (what WAS I thinking?).

Like Amanda, Sammy is a wonderful eater, and is getting neater and cleaner about it all the time; right down to the spoon (ok, well, the fork needs a bit of work from everybody at the moment.
