I-tal-ia!
What a week!
So my friends Jeff and Casey come into
town this past weekend. I wasn't able to meet them Sunday at the Taste. I was
too tired from Erika's one of many going away parties the night before.
I met up with them, Erika, Bryan, and
another old D&B employee (also named Jeff with his wife) at the Taste to see
the fireworks. They were cool. We were in the Petrillo Shell. A friend of
ours works security there, so we can get the hook up. You gotta love showing up
10 minutes before the fireworks and being able to get a prime seat. Check them
out:
So, these were cool. The next night I
met up with some friends for a cookout and some beers. Their neighborhood had
some fireworks too. I swear that some of them were about as good as the ones
from Monday night. I hung out for a while before having to head home to begin
work on a video. So I get home to work
on a video for D&B. I work on it for a couple hours, then decide to take a
quick nap. I spend all morning getting music done and editing the video. The
original music idea just wouldn't work. I had wanted to use about 5-8 songs
total, but I couldn't get a them to fit together, especially for a
video.So I went plan B. Just a couple
songs and some quick edits. 10 hours later, I had a video. Not my best work,
but it was serviceable.Wow! I forgot
that I had started this entry a long time ago and never finished
it.Ok so just a quick ending. Yeah,
watching the Final game for World Cup was pretty cool. I got to work the
upstairs area with the big screen and the crowd was very cool. I only had one
guy that was a bit out of hand when Italy scored it's first two penalty kicks.
Security and I had to calm him down. Think I'll be more of a soccer fan
now:)L8r,Marz
