Finally the beach!
So, I finally got to the beach today. Mid 70's.
Kinda sunny. Laid out for an hour. I prolly coulda stayed longer, but I didn't
want to risk getting too much of a burn. Besides, I'll be there tomorrow
anyway. I'd like to get a little bit of color for my Orlando trip. Well, it's
a business trip so I don't think there will be much fun in the sun. But I am
excited about it. I hope to see a bit of the park at least one of the nights
I'm there. I get in free ya
know:)
Roger Clemens pitched again last night. And the bullpen screwed it up for him. Jeez. How could the Astros score 10 runs just a couple days ago with Oswalt pitching (their best pitcher right now) and score 0 RUNS on Tuesday. How? And we lost again today. At least we played basically the top team in baseball and lost. Grrrr.
World Cup. Been watching as much as I can. Since about half of the days I work are office shifts, I don't really watch the matches. My floor shifts I get to watch most of them. For the US/Ghana game I barely watched it. I was the coffee bitch for the downstairs. Our poor little coffee maker just couldn't keep up with the demand for the game. Go figure. People want to drink coffee at 9AM instead of beer. You'd think that some of them were going to work that afternoon :)
Bummer is that my two teams in the pool got eliminated this week. I had Australia and Spain. I at least thought Spain could handle the French. Oh well. My dream of having both of the Finals teams ended. No worries, at least I still have the motherland...Go Italy. Got my jersey too. Though I'd rather be off for the next game. I get to work on Friday :( And it will be an office shift unless we get slammed.
Oh well....I leave ya with pictures that include sand instead of grass:
