The Weekend!
Whew! I made it through 3 closing restaurant
shifts in a row! :) I am so looking forward to not having to wear anything
heavier than a light pullover for the next couple days. On Thursday I ran a
couple errands around my place and actually wore just a t-shirt. Obi Wan

Just a little bit chilly, but it was worth it. It's almost at the date of my "rule" concerning jackets. I should not have to wear a jacket from April 1st through October 31st.
Call me crazy, but that's the way it is. This is when I start getting cranky here in Chi-town about the temperature and the fact that I cannot go out in normal clothes. Down in Tejas, the high is going to be 85. Ya hear that?! 85 friggin' degrees. Our high? 51. Feck. So I'll wear my sweet UT pullover :)
Not too much planned for my "weekend" of Friday and Saturday off. Prolly watch a lot of basketball, movies, clean, mess around with my newest install of XP on my Mac iBook, read more about wine, and be a geek:) Spurs get a re-match of the Lakers on Friday. Should be able to extend their win streak over them. They played Phoenix tonight and demolished them. It didn't hurt that their star player, Steve Nash, was out. Just wish they coulda beaten the Clippers a couple nights ago.
Cool thing for me is that not only do I get off this Friday and Saturday, I get the same days off next week. How cool is that? Not sure if I want to be out on the other amateur night of the year next week. Staying home on a Friday night St Paddy's Day sounds like a good idea. Or at least don't wander too far from home. Maybe go to Clark street nearby for some grub and a couple cocktails.
Well, that's enough random ramblings. I'm sure over the next couple of days I'll find something out there to rant aboot (in my best Canadian accent).
