Marz's Blackjack Winnings and Losings Tracking

OK, so if Marz is so smart about Blackjack, why isn't he making his living playing it? Well, remember the 4 keys to winning at Blackjack from the Blackjack 101 page? Marz's only problem is Bankroll. He doesn't have a sufficient bankroll to earn his living on it. How much of a Bankroll does he need? Well, Since I am only willing to lose 20 units per session, I need to be able to survive anywhere from 6-10 lossing sessions in a row from the beginning. At $100 per unit that comes to $2000 per session. I need to have between $12,000 to $20,000 of available money to do this. Anyone want to send me a spare $20,000? ;)

So Marz is SOL, huh? Well yes and no. While he doesn't have the money for it, he has the ability to conduct real world simulations. How you ask? Well at Dave & Buster's of course! Every day that I am there I take an initial 10 units. I play until I either have lost that 10 units and then another 10 units, or until I have won at least 3 units. I've always kept a kind of mental track of how well I do just playing around, but never kept a record of it until recently. Below is a table showing how well I'm doing. These are the conditions:

Total Days Avg Win/Loss Est'd Yearly Earnings
75 $221 $66,200

For the first month I did very well. I managed to earn over $10,000. The second month was a net loss of $3650. Not a very good month, but at least I was still up overall. The third month saw a return to positive earnings. I net $9450. Almost as much as the first month. Over the 75 day period my net earnings were $16,550 for an average of $221/day. If the same trend continued over a year's time, I would earn over $66,000. All for working maybe 30 minutes to 2 hours per day playing Blackjack at only $100/hand. Not bad, eh?
