Golden Eagle at Harvey,
Albert Co., N.B.

21 January 2007

In mid-afternoon, 21 Jan. 2007 this adult GOLDEN EAGLE [Aigle royal] flew up the Shepody River to near the tidal dam at Harvey Bank. It slowly circled, gained elevation and moved downriver a bit, then disappeared northwards across the dykelands towards Hopewell Hill.

These photos, taken within one minute, show it at different angles and in varying lighting (and degrees of sharpness).

Photos by David Christie; also observed by Mary Majka, John Inman and Janet Wallace. Total observation about 5 minutes.
