1999 Eurovan Camper for sale
43,300 miles
$25,000

PRICE DROP $23,500.

I am the original owner of the van. I bought it from Borton VW in March 2000.

Oil has been changed either by the dealer, or by me at every 3000- 5000 miles.

This past summer I had 40K mile service done, including having the brake fluid flushed.

In the summer of 2002 the coolent was changed, when the water pump was replaced.

When the van had 16K miles, there was a transmission problem, and was replaced by VW.
. No trouble since.

Also in 2002 I put new gas struts on the "kitchen" cover- they were starting to get a bit droopy, so I changed them out.

I have screens for the rear hatch, side slider, and roof vent. These attach via velcro, and
snaps. I just added snaps to the windshield curtain, the velcro didn't hold it very well. The
front windows have rain sheilds/visors, so that you can have the window open a bit in the
rain. I have had grey sheepskin seat covers on the two front seats for most of the life of
the van, so the seats should be brand new under there. I also have the bently repair
books for the van, as well as all the manuals that came with it, along with the video.

The windows are all tinted. ( except for the windshield of course)

I recently did the "belly pan modification", so that you can change the oil and filter, without having to drop the belly pan.

There is a black vinyl covering on the back bumper, so that when the bike rack sits on it, the bumper won't
discolor. ( This can be seen on the Eurocampers.com web site, which is where I got it, along w/ door screens and window visors)

I have also installed a Blaupunkt Alaska in dash AM/FM/CD player, w/ Thumber remote,
and aux imput, that allows me to plug my iPod in, and play thru the stereo.
I can also plug in my laptop, and have the DVD sound play thru the stereo. The unit also has a nice
feature called "T-store", which works for Am and FM. You hold down a button for a few
seconds, and the radio stores the 5 or 6 strongest signal stations. This is in addition to
your normally stored stations for home. This is an unbeliveable feature fortraveling.

I have a Fiamma bike rack that will hold 3 bikes that attaches to the back hatch. This is
NOT included with the van sale, but could be purchased separately.

Now, for the less than perfect parts:

The 3 way fridge needs an adjustment- it works fine on shore power, and battery, but it
picky when it comes to working off the propane. Sometimes it lights, sometimes not.
Usually I just cool it down on shore power, then fill it with bottled water, since I drink a lot
of water. I primarily use a cooler- I find it easier to just sit a cooler on the picnic table,
since I prefer to cook outdoors. That way I don't have to keep going back to the van, for
whatever I forgot.

The speaker on the passenger side door works fine, but the covering is cracked. ( I closed
it on my briefcase. I did this several years ago, have not looked into changing it out.

There is a crease/dent on the drivers side, about midway back. This happened after I had
the van a few weeks, and I was trying to make a tight turn in a parking lot. (See photo)
.

Also, the paint is scraped from part of the rear bumper, passenger side. I will post a photo of this soon
