Red roots, blue mindWe just got back from Montana. It was a cross
country trip with Val and Kai (six months) and Magnus. Karl and Alan met us in
Red Lodge, as well as other family for cousin Chels' wedding. What a party. More
on this later, plus photos.
The trip itself has raised a few questions, mainly the fact that I dearly miss a view outside my kitchen window, horses, and a big back yard. But last night Alan and I took Magnus out for his first sushi (he loves it!!!) and today I'm listening to Seattle's progressive talk radio, AM 1090. Unabashed commentary on Bush. While NPR treads so gently these guys are calling on the fact that it took a few days for Bush to cut his vacation short, Cheney even longer, and Condi was shoe shopping. Shoe shopping?!!! By the way, the American Red Cross takes donations online. Anyway, if anyone knows of a progressive town, with horses a swift bike ride away, reasonably priced real estate and good jobs for Alan (software engineer and father extraordinaire), myself (writer, equestrian, waitress, tree marker, cashier, bartender, photographer, catalog content processor, substitute teacher, and of course mother extraordinaire), well just click the feedback link and let me know.
