watch them get run over by cars who seem to be aiming for
it...
Magnus and I went to the zoo
today and we had the experience everyone wants. We went to see the gorillas
because they are still interesting even when it gets cold (most of the other
animals are huddled near their heat lamps. The gorillas do as well but they
still pick at their feet, scratch their backs, etc). One of the gorillas got up,
walked over to Magnus and sat directly across from him. I had the stroller right
up to the glass, so we were no more than four feet from him (or her, I can't
tell the difference). Anyway, the gorilla peered at Magnus, press its face
against the glass, licked the glass, then walked away. I don't know much about
gorillas, but it seemed very sweet. Magnus just sat in his stroller and smiled
back at the gorilla. I love slow days at the zoo.
