Almost as cool as walking

Magnus ate all of his oatmeal this morning with his own spoon from his own bowl. Very cool indeed. It wasn't even very messy. As far as food is concerned, this kid is advanced!

We had our derby party, which I will post photos as soon as download them from the camera. (Remember, we got a new camera that can hold over 500 images. Even when we only take a hundred or so, downloading takes a while.) The band was fabulous, the food was also fabulous and it was great to have so many friends with kids running around. Though those without were a little taken aback, but I'm sure they still had a good time. Odd though, we invited twice as many people and went through less than half the amount of booze. Gotta love the influence of those kids! Many thanks to our tots!

My parents showed up and spent two hours cleaning. Dad rubbed the ribs and brisket with my special dry rub. All in all, they helped so much that we were only up to 11 pm the night before, a record for Alan and myself. I was so glad they got to come for the party and I hope they come next year.

Well, duty calls (Hurrah for the pooters they get the poo out! Hurrah for the pooters, they get the poo out! Hurrah for the pooters they get the poo out. Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!)
