A bag of yarn! The brown skeins have a rather mousy (by Val's definition) color but I knitted a swatch and loved how it looked. I think I will knit a favorite cardigan. You know the one. It's kind of mousy, but warm and comfortable and it goes with everything. I might have projects lined up for the other two, perhaps the Audrey in Rowan 35? There's enough for at least 3 sweaters in the bag, and some left over for a matching Magnus cardigan or at least booties.

Perhaps you're wishing you had a friend who gave bags of yarn away. My friend Val has the uncanny ability of finding incredible bargains at yard sales. All of that yarn sold for $5. Don't you wish you had her luck? She doesn't even knit.

I have more to write. Magnus was baptized over the weekend. The whole family came out. But I need to have the pictures to post. Please be patient and I'll get it up as soon as I can.
