Emailing Your Professor

Email is the best way to contact me outside of class and office hours. To ensure that I get your message and reply in a timely manner, please use your university email account, and include the course number in the subject line. If you have not already done so, please read "How to Email a Professor" by Michael Leddy, which gives advice both on etiquette and clarity. To his useful words I would add that you should use standard spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. Why does any of this matter? You need to cultivate the habits of communication that will serve you well in your professional life.
