Bike ride and barbeque on the West Orange Trail – June 8, 2002


Geoffrey gets us off to a good start with readings from the Bible and Science and Health.




Downtown Brown’s, in Winter Garden, served as the lunch stop. From there, it’s a simpe, two-mile ride back to Chapin Station, where participants played Frisbee and basketball, and later grilled burgers, catfish, steaks, and corn on the cob, for a potluck meal.


Merrily Arnold makes the history books as the youngest participant ever on a Discovery Bound event.



When the day started, there were seven cyclists. Our numbers grew throughout the day, until finally we had enough for one of Peter Anderson’s classic group shots.
