DiscoveryBound regional meeting at MOSI, in Tampa, March 5 – 7, 2004

And by all means, check out Ken Cheezem’s photos of this event!

Spencer’s football got a great deal of use between MOSI programs.

Jay, from Jacksonville, leads one of three discussion groups Saturday afternoon.

In MOSI’s wind tunnel, goggles are worn to ensure that eyeballs stay put.

Obviously, gale force winds can cause one to feel a bit more free spirited.

The event’s inspirational talk was given by Jennifer Hill, who handles weather reporting at Channel 8, Tampa. She gave the DB crowd a tour of the studio, and then elaborated on her career in the television industry, and the role Christian Science has played in it.

Take the WFLA tornado quiz!

Yes, it could happen ... some day!

So what are they saying? E-mail your thought balloons by March 18. Note: there are three other thought balloons in the above photos. They are mouseovers. Find them! (It gives you a warm feeling inside.)

Last photo of the day ... a group shot right after church. And many thanks to First Church, Tampa, for lending us their Sunday School room as a place to grab a chair and a sandwich before heading home. (And thanks to Julie and Chip Webster for all the hospitality; and the sandwiches!)

And a ton of thanks goes to Lori Selby, DiscoveryBound’s Eastern Regional Director, for organizing the event!
