Mentor, (UNI 089)

The Mentor card allows the players who are not Valarian Mentors to be able to teach. We have a number of campaigns that do not have Valarians as teachers. Their are also a number of several hundred CP characters who have not become Valarian Mentors through there distrust of any beuracracy. They make fine Valarians, but do not want to go up the ladder.
GM's will be able to use Mentors within their campaigns to teach languages, history and specialty campaign information that is valid only in their campaign. Players and GM's in standard campaigns will not find this card useful, but those who are "stretching" the rules, it will be handy. Dragon Storm itself was designed by Sue to be moldable by GM's to fit her campaign ideas, and in those it will be very useful. |
