Spear Master, (UNI 088)

The Spear Master is a specialist at using spears and pikes. It allows those characters who want to play a character who acts as a fantasy Greek Hopolite, they can.

GM's will find these useful when building trained militia for towns and villages. There are going to be a lot of creative players attempting to use spears in "special" ways.
The GM will have to decide if the situation and the explanation are entertaining enough to allow the players to "stretch" the rules. It is often good to say something like "In this case you can do that." That keeps the answer from being a constant rule.

As with the other new masteries a player may only take one. We like the one each better. Once we began to see the stuttering characters saying I'm a Bow Master, Master, master, we decided to limit the new ones.
