Performa Equivilents
In a word - YES. Macintosh LC series computers covered on this site have several equivilent machines that were sold as part of Apple's Performa consumer computer range. The systems do not differ internally and are based on the same parts. If you have a Performa machine from the ranges listed below you may want to note down which LC model it is based on as I do not refer to Performa model numbers anywhere else on this site.
In the case of the Quadra 605 it was a beefed up version of the LC475 (there is a jumper link on the logic board that sets the ROM to Quadra or LC mode!!) with a full 68040MC CPU on the locic board and a slightly different case that was deeper and sat flat on the desk and was strengthened to allow a larger monitor to be place ontop.
