These are photos of my recent trip from April 2007. I went to the United States of America to visit my two favorite cities. In particular, I enjoyed the geography and lifestyle of San Francisco. Highlights were many, but included the City Lights Bookshop, the Golden Gate Bridge, visiting the township of Sausilito and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The innovative use of old streetcars in the public transport system was great to see. This fleet included an old W Class Melbourne tram. The ferry trip to Alcatraz and the audio tour of the island is also a “must see”.
