The Asia Pacific Cultural Center is a non-profit headquartered in Tacoma. It’s mission is to create dialogue and outreach opportunities between the many Asian Pacific cultures in the Puget Sound region and the larger community. The organization asked me to create a simple, functional and informative web presence as quickly as possible, since they had not had a website for over two years. I created a simple hybrid site using frames and some CSS. I sourced or generated images and graphics and did all layout, testing and maintenance. I also served as the APCC’s web administrator over this period. The initial site I created received kudos from the APCC, site users, and other area non-profits, but the site has since evolved into its next generation with new designers.
