BEAUTIFUL BEACH WEDDING

It was another beautiful beach wedding at the Laguna Cliffs Resort & Spa with amazing details and vendors including The Flower Girl, Swank AV, Heidelberg Pastry, and coordinated by the uber fabulous Stephanie Lairson. The couple are big boat lovers and have the funniest story of how she sank his boat when they were dating, and when he didn't freak out she knew he was "a keeper." For their engagement session we headed to the fun zone and then jumped on a little boat to cruise around the harbor. Little did they know that on their wedding day there would be a big sail boat race on the beach out front of the hotel. We were a little late in capturing the boats with their sails up, but got some fabulous ones around them on the beach!

JULIE & DELSON MARRIED!

Julie and Delson are the amazing couple I shot at Camp earlier this summer. Their engagement photos rocked and their wedding at Mastro's rocked even more! I had such a blast spending the day with them and capturing all their special moments and fabulous details during the day. Their wedding was well equipped with many amazing vendors including Tic Tick Floral, Fascination, Great Dane, and coordinated by Christina Wright of Simply Modern Weddings.

MALIBU ESTATE WEDDING

I photographed Valerie and Matt's beautiful Malibu wedding earlier this summer. I met Valerie freelancing for Los Angeles Magazine last year and we always had a blast working together. When she called me up and told me she was getting married and wanted me to capture her wedding day I was so excited! Their wedding was so wonderful and I had such a great time! A BEAUTIFUL WEDDING IN HUNTINGTON BEACH

I had such a wonderful time photographing the couple's wedding in Huntington Beach! It was one of those weddings where the family was so amazing, the timeline went so smoothly, and the bride and groom had amazing light at the end of the day for their pictures! Everything just fell into place and it was fabulous, I wish all my weddings could be this easy and fun to shoot!

LUCKY 8.8.08 WEDDING AT THE SURF AND SAND

My couples keep getting more and more amazing! I lucked out on this "lucky day" with a another fabulous couple and fun venue at the Surf and Sand Resort in Laguna Beach. How can I not have a blast taking photos right on the beach in and gorgeous light! The details were perfect for the 8.8.08 occasion and I just loved the bright colors! WEDDING AT OAK CREEK GOLF CLUB

I shot this fabulous wedding back in the beginning of August at the beautiful St John Nemann Catholic Church and the Oak Creek Golf Club. Two great venues with an amazing crew from Regency Caterers and a couple that was all about fun! The party rocked all day AND night with one of my favorite bands, Dwight Kennedy Band and I could barley get out on the dance floor without getting trampled on to get picks! SPECTACULAR LA JOLLA WEDDING

Wooo Hooo! It's about time for another fabulous wedding feature! This wedding was very special for me because the bride is a dear friend of my Sister and I got to spend the day with her and all of their friends. The setting was absolutely beautiful and intimate at the La Jolla Women's Club down in San Diego, and Charlene, the bride did an amazing job designing and decorating the ceremony site and ballroom. She is very talented and has a successful jewelry business called Leila Jewelry, which by the way I am in absolute love over! She sent me a catalog to chose from and I haven't yet picked what I want because I can't narrow it down! Everything is fantastic! Oh, and by the way, she designed ALL her and her bridesmaids jewelry for the wedding, how cool is that!

A FABULOUS INDIAN WEDDING

I am so excited to share Mrs. & Mr. Jasmine's wedding from the Wedding Bee that was held at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles on Saturday. I gave you a little sneak peek a few days ago, but here are all the juicy details...

As I am sure you guessed by the photos of their stunning shoes and henna art they had an amazing Indian wedding infused with Western customs. It was very refreshing and exciting to be a part of a wedding with such unique traditions and fabulous flare. Angel Swanson from Events of Love & Splendor was a doll to work with and did an amazing job organizing their wonderful wedding. Mrs. Jasmine of course was absolutely stunning in her lengha, and Mr. Jasmine was all decked out in a custom sherwani and swanky mojari shoes (which were later stolen by Mrs. Jasmine's bridesmaids and held for ransom). It was a fun celebration of love and life with two very special people! Thanks so much for inviting me into your celebration, I had a wonderful time capturing your moments of joy!

STRAWBERRY FARMS WEDDING

Last weekend I photographed a fabulous wedding at Strawberry Farms Golf Course in Irvine. The couple was so relaxed and ready to have a great time that it made my job super easy! It also helped that I photographed the Bride's Sister's wedding back in 2006 with Becker and had a blast then too. All the details were put together by the couple's close and talented friends: Wendy from Fleur Fillies created the beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets, Emily and Rochelle from Wiley Valentine designed the paper goods, and April from Modern Gourmet put together an amazing desert bar. All in all it was an amazing day with an amazing couple!

SNEAK PEEK

Here is a little sneak peek from Miss & Mr. Jasmine's wedding up in Los Angeles yesterday. Miss Jasmine, or should I say Mrs. Jasmine now, is a guest blogger from the fabulous Wedding Bee and she is just the cutest thing ever! I knew she would be excited to see their photos right away, but I have not had a day off in over two weeks and I am taking this sunny Sunday to go and play. A couple weeks ago Victor Sizemore called me up and asked me to join him at his wedding at La Venta Inn the next day. I figured I could put everything on my desk on hold for a day and go have fun shooting a Friday wedding near the beach. FABULOUS WEDDING AT ST BRENDAN & THE EBELL LOS ANGELES

I kept my fingers and toes crossed while I slept the night before my wedding on Saturday because the weatherman said it was going to rain. It seems like the rain has been following my couple around for a while because their engagement sessions had to be rescheduled. Luckily we narrowly escaped it in exchange for huge gusts of wind. Normally I like a little breeze to give the vail some movement, but we had dresses blowing and the vail flying off. They were such great sports about everything and were just excited it wasn't a wet wedding.

The couple had two wonderful ceremonies. The first, a traditional Catholic ceremony which took place at the beautiful St Brendan Catholic Church , and the second, a Korean tea ceremony took place at The Ebell Los Angeles. I really love when my couples make their weddings personal and have special traditions that make it their own. The groom even got up on stage with the amazing Dwight Kennedy Band and sang a special love song for his new bride. It was such a wonderful day, thanks for having me along!

FIRST WEDDING OF 2008!

I was so excited to kick off my 2008 wedding season this past weekend at the Ritz Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena! I just love the Hotel and the Japanese Gardens in back are simply amazing. The couple got very lucky with the cherry blossom trees in full bloom which only happens for two weeks out of the entire year! Not only was the venue fabulous, the couple was one of the nicest I have worked with in a while. The bride of course was absolutely stunning in her Vera Wang 1940's inspired gown and her handsome groom by her side! They were both so friendly and elegant, I had such a wonderful day with them. I have to give a special thanks to Amelia Lyon who came out to shoot with me last minute and Michele Amundsen who did a fabulous job coordinating the wedding.

WEDDING AT THE RITZ IN PASADENA

Last weekend I joined Becker for a fabulous wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa in Pasadena. The ceremony was outdoors in the Japanese garden with all the beautiful colors and details of fall done by Petals by Xavi. The reception took place in the Georgian Ballroom, one of the original rooms in the hotel. Check out their amazing photos!
