WEDDING AT THE ISLAND HOTEL



A few weeks ago Becker and I shot a beautiful wedding at Our Lady Mount Carmel Catholic Church on the Balboa Peninsula. It was a nice cool day with beautiful light for amazing pictures. The reception followed at The Island Hotel in Newport Beach where Marks Garden did a fabulous job with all the details and flowers. At the reception the bride's Lithuanian heritage gave a unique twist on the American wedding with a grand entrance and first dance using colorful scarves, and a cake they call "the horny cake", which is supposed to predict how many kids you they will have.
