Eyes of a Child explores the inner psychology and imagination of Beatrice, an extremely intelligent 10 year old girl. An avid reader, Beatrice constantly immerses herself in her classic children's books. The film juxtaposes the reality in which she lives with her vivid imagination. Through Beatrice's imagination, she turns the people she encounters in reality into characters from the books she is reading, allowing the audience a glimpse of reality through the eyes of a child.
