IT'S NOT JUST ME!

Another Moben (MKD Holdings Ltd) customer's woes :

Part 1 (See lower in page for Part 2)

Philip Schofield of Burnley is another Moben customer who has kindly allowed me to add some of his photos to this site.
philip.schofield2@ntlworld.com

Phil tells me he has had problems with :
Delays
Rubbish on drive and down the street, screws in road
Unfinished cabinets
Late tiling
Difficulty contacting Moben, un-returned phone calls
Poor quality plastering
Unfilled hole above extractor (see pictures)
Electrical wiring not sunk in wall (see pics)
Cornice not properly attached
Carbon filter missing from extractor
No acceptable offer of compensation.
And all this for only £13,400

See the pictures below!

Electrical wiring carried out by so-called 'professional'

More Moben quality workmanship!

Part 2

Phil has resorted to fixing some faults himself because Moben take so long.
The following photos show more of the 'quality' you can expect from Moben.

Cornice not screwed or glued down properly.

1not screwed down

Pipe and Duct. The carbon filter was missing. Phil wonders how many other Moben customers have a missing filter but haven't realised.
Note the missing cornice.

3what you should see if theres one fit

Gap between wall and cabinet. This cut-away is because the wall isn't quite flat. This is the 'skill' you may get if you employ Moben.

I suppose if you only pay Moben £13400 then you can't expect them to spend a few pence on a reasonable amount of glue or a few screws.

NEFF type extractor. Looks good even if the filter is missing and even if it sends steam, smells etc to the bathroom above.
